Schedule of Events
8am: Mass in honor of deceased SICBP Lifeguards at Saint Joseph Catholic Church
10:45am: Surfboat Parade along the Promenade, 29th to 44th Street
11:15am: Centennial Ceremony, Beach Patrol Headquarters at 44th Street & Promenade
12pm: Row-Out Ceremony at 43rd Street Beach, site of the first lifeguard stand in Sea Isle City:
(Speeches by dignitaries, Bagpipers, Surfboat crews rowing out flowers for deceased SICBP members and a boat for all guards that served in the military, followed by a Gun Salute from a Military Honor Guard)
1-5pm: Beach Patrol Open House - both alumni and the general public can enjoy guided tours through the Headquarters, where they can view equipment, awards from competitions and pictures from past decades.
